Sawtooth Phase II
Set to be built in Gunnison, Colorado, the Sawtooth Phase 2 Project aims to bolster the housing availability in this renowned skiing and snowboarding hub.
In collaboration with Fading West Development, the project is primarily backed by funding from Gunnison County, with financial viability realized through State and Federal grants incentivizing passive energy solutions. These grants were earned based on the project's innovative design incorporating solar and geothermal ground coupling for energy efficiency.
Sawtooth stands out as a pioneer in volumetric modular construction, integrating both geothermal and solar strategies. This pioneering approach presented numerous complex design hurdles that had to be successfully navigated.
